October 31 - an evening of Prayer, Praise, Power and Worship
For the last two years we have had a Love Wales centre in Merthyr Tydfil which has been a great blessing - although not very big it was somewhere to meet for prayer, administration, meetings and also to host our Revival Ministry School.
From January 2018, however, we will be moving to a new centre in Ebbw Vale that God has blessed us with!
We are so excited by this answer to prayer as we have been seeking the next steps to develop Love Wales and this wonderful has been offered to us for free and is in the heart of the South Wales valleys. The building has an auditorium that can seat 350-400 people, offices and rooms, two radio studios, and is situated in five acres of land.
The organisation running the ministry there at present feel that it is time to hand the building and centre over to another ministry and we feel so privileged and humbled that they have asked us to take it on.
As we are praying about how God wants us to develop and take the vision of Love Wales forward to reach our nation for Jesus our plan and desire is to;
A major aspect of the School will be to give people an opportunity to work with us in Missions and Internships in Wales and the chance to take part in Missions with us in Europe and across the world. We will be developing the School on-line over the next few months and will announce when it is up and running and how to register.
The centre is at: Love Wales Festival Mission Centre, Beech Grove, Victoria, Ebbw Vale, Gwent, NP23 8WQ. Follow the signs to the Festival Park Outlet Shopping - and turn left just before you reach the Outlet roundabout.
We will be doing a changeover to our new building over the next few months and will be transferring our ministry into it in January 2018.
While we will be moving into the building in the New Year it does, however, need work to bring it up to a high standard so any help from volunteers and supporters will be much appreciated! We need practical help - for maintenance work, gardens, painting, plumbing, tiling and general repairs and tidying up. We will be doing fundraising as we move into this centre and all the God given opportunities it holds. It is a huge step of faith for us but we believe that this an open door God has set before us so that the nation can be touched with the love of Jesus!
If you would like to support us and be a Love Wales partner and commit to monthly giving we would love to hear from you, or if you would like to support us with a one off gift - whatever God lays on your heart will be much appreciated. Our heart is to reach our nation for Jesus and for Wales to touch the world once again!
Festival Church Building - Love Wales new centre! Festival Church Centre is next to the Festival Outlet The centre will seat around 400 people in the main hall
The centre was built as part of the 1992 Garden Festival
Main entrance of the Centre includes an amphitheatre in the five acre grounds.
Thank you for all the prayer and support that all our friends have given over the years and we really appreciate your support for the future.
The address for the new centre is:
Love Wales Festival Mission Centre, Beech Grove, Victoria, Ebbw Vale, Gwent, NP23 8WQ. Follow the signs to the Festival Park Outlet Shopping - and turn left just before you reach the Outlet roundabout.
The Love Wales website is run by a group of people who have a heart felt desire to reach Wales with the Love of God. We are are not the only ones who want to do this but our desire is that, as a result of what we are doing, a significant number will hear the Good News that God loves them and has a plan for their lives!
We are an Evangelical mission organisation who believe that the Holy Spirit is still at work in to the church today through ordinary Christians. For a full list of our our primary beliefs click here.
We work in partnership with churches in their local area. Love Wales is part of the Evangelical Alliance.
