New Love Wales Centre!

Dear Friends,

Everyone in our nation has been affected by this Coronavirus crisis and we try to support family, friends and neighbours as much as we can, but there are parts of the world where the crisis has meant that people have reached new levels of poverty and desperation.
There are so many needs it can be overwhelming – we cannot meet them all but we can support ones that come across our path where we know we can make a difference.
So we are making a special appeal to our friends and supporters to raise funds to support ministries we know and have worked with on missions in Uganda, Rwanda and India. The money will go to their food distribution ministries. The situations in which they are working is heart breaking with so many literally having nothing to eat because of the lock-down. Our brothers and sisters in Christ are starving and we want to help them. Love Wales has already sent gifts out of its funds but now we want to do so much more.
A few weeks ago we sent £600 to Uganda where in many households there is no food.
The team in Uganda bought maize flour, rice, soap and beans for about 80 families – people with HIV/AIDs, widows, widowers and disabled from all different denominations as well as Muslims. These supplies have been a lifeline to families who would have no other means to feed their families.
In some areas of India beggars have been stopped from begging due to the lock-down. How desperate can people be to not even be able to beg?
We have faithful contacts we have known for many years working in these places in ministries that we know will help and support these desperately needy people – but they need finance to do that.
If you feel led to help financially with these needs we can send support to people and ministries that we know will be honourable and with integrity buy food and supplies to distribute to those in need.
Please see below on how you can make a donation.

As everyone will be aware at the moment, along with other churches and organisations - we are not able to hold our Revival Ministry School in our centre. However, we are still able to broadcast to our students online.

For all students - please make sure that you have the emails that we are regularly sending out with details about how to access the school online and via downloads.

We really miss meeting together but praise God for technology and that we can still connect together!

Our new Love Wales Mission Centre for training, equipping and sending!

In January 2018 Love Wales moved to a new centre in Ebbw Vale that God has blessed us with!

We are so excited by this answer to prayer‎ as we have been seeking the next steps to develop Love Wales and this wonderful has been offered to us for free and is in the heart of the South Wales valleys. The building has an auditorium that can seat 350-400 people, offices and rooms, two radio studios, and is situated in five acres of land with a amphitheatre outside that will seat around 300 people!

The organisation that had been running the ministry at the centre (the Festival Church Trust) through a number of circumstances had felt that it was time to hand the building and centre over to another ministry and we feel so privileged and humbled that they have asked us to take it on.

As we are praying about how God wants us to develop and take the vision of Love Wales forward to reach our nation for Jesus our plan and desire is to;

  • establish a house of prayer for Wales and the Nations,
  • to hold regular Miracle Healing services and ministry conferences
  • have a coffee shop/book shop and meeting place for ministries and believers and an outreach to the community
  • host leaders meetings and mentoring meetings for evangelists
  • support ministries in the community such as Foodbanks
  • we will also continue and develop our Revival School of Ministry - developing it to more than the current Saturday monthly school.
  • We also plan to use live streaming and online courses for the meetings, conferences and lectures so that people from not just Wales but all over the world will connect to us.

A major aspect of the School will be to give people an opportunity to work with us in Missions in Wales and also the chance to take part in Missions with us in Europe and across the world. We will be developing the School on-line and will announce when it is up and running and how to register.

The centre is at: Love Wales Festival Mission Centre, Beech Grove, Victoria, Ebbw Vale, Gwent, NP23 8WQ. Follow the signs to the Festival Park Outlet Shopping - and turn left just before you reach the Outlet roundabout.

Taking on such a building is a huge undertaking and step of faith and so any help from volunteers and supporters will be much appreciated! We need practical help - for maintenance work, gardens, painting, plumbing, tiling and general repairs and tidying up. It is a huge step of faith for us but we believe that this an open door God has set before us so that the nation can be touched with the love of Jesus!

If you would like to support us and be a Love Wales partner and commit to monthly giving we would love to hear from you, or if you would like to support us with a one off gift - whatever God lays on your heart will be much appreciated. Our heart is to reach our nation for Jesus and for Wales to touch the world once again!

Festival Church Building - Love Wales new centre!         Festival Church Centre is next to the Festival Outlet       The centre will seat around 400 people in the main hall

The centre was built as part of the 1992 Garden Festival

Main entrance of the Centre                                                        includes an amphitheatre in the five acre grounds.

Thank you for all the prayer and support that all our friends have given over the years and we really appreciate your support for the future.

The address for the new centre is:

Love Wales Festival Mission Centre, Beech Grove, Victoria, Ebbw Vale, Gwent, NP23 8WQ. Follow the signs to the Festival Park Outlet Shopping - and turn left just before you reach the Outlet roundabout.

What is Love Wales?

The Love Wales website is run by a group of people who have a heart felt desire to reach Wales with the Love of God. We are are not the only ones who want to do this but our desire is that, as a result of what we are doing, a significant number will hear the Good News that God loves them and has a plan for their lives!

What we believe

We are an Evangelical mission organisation who believe that the Holy Spirit is still at work  in to the church today through ordinary Christians. For a full list of our our primary beliefs click here.

We work in partnership with churches in their local area. Love Wales is part of the Evangelical Alliance.
